Spaghetti Goreng Sayang Selasih

Salam alaykum. What is something that is easy to cook, delicious and very generous to your stomach? To me, its the fried spaghetti. You can create variety of flavors. And today it's basil flavors. Basil or ' selasih' has a strong and wonderful taste. I like it even fresh. Growing basil is easy. It grows on seed but at times I simply replant it by planting the cut stem. And today here it is. Simply fried as usual and basil just before turning off the heat. Bismillahirrahmanirrahim.......

Crustless Kai-lan Quiche

Assalamualaikum Another healthy eating. Mixed and baked it before leaving for office at 8am this morning. A very easy, healthy and most importantly filling recipe. What is needed 2 eggs beaten 2-3 table spoon milk Salt and pepper 2 stalks of kai-lan (or some call it chinese kale or chinese broccoli) Cheese I got this easy weezy recipe from my old friend from school. The wonders of technology made it possible for us to communicate despite being miles away. How to make it. Heat the oven. Prepare the mold. Put all the ingredients in a large bowl. Mix well. Pour the mixture into the mold. 1/3 of the mold as it will rise. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes. While the quiche is in the oven, quickly get dress for office. In no time, your lunch is ready. Do not forget your Basmalah. Enjoy. Wassalam.

Pizza o Pizza

Salam alaykum. Pizza anyone? This is the instant version with the ready made ingredients. This was an overdue post. A group of Sabrina's friend came over for a short break from school on one Friday afternoon. Each brought their own lunch pack from school so I need not prepare them anything. But, be it children or adult, they are still the guest of our house. And guest must be treated accordingly as prescribed by Islamic teaching. To provide them with hospitality and serve them with good food that we have. Feeling guilty not serving them anything, I dig into the fridge to find anything that could be served. Preferably is to the children's liking and found enough ingredient for and instant pizza-like dish. What I found from the fridge: The plain Kawanku flexi Ready made cooked  minced beef Pizza sauce Vegeies - tomato, broccoli Cheese - mozarella and cheddar Therefor, I decided to: Spread the sauce onto the Kawanku. Topped with the minced beef, vegies and cheese.
